The festival is being held at the Radisson Resort in the Port, Cape Canaveral, FL. To see their covid policy go to scbwf.org, click on 2022 Festival, in drop down menu click on Logistics, then click on Hotel Information and there you will see their policy.

Their policy guides our policies. At this time we do not plan on mandating masks, although masks will be provided with your registration. We are also not requesting proof of vaccination. However, we will provide hand sanitizing stations and social distancing notices abundantly.

We have a variety of field trips ranging from meet up in your own vehicle at a specific location to mini buses or motorcoachs ranging from 24 passenger to 56 passengers. Currently, we are putting a maximum of 24 to 28 passengers on a 28 passenger bus depending on trip, and 36 in a 38 passenger bus and 48 in a 56 passenger. These numbers are based on maximum registration.

We currently are not limiting seating in any of the meeting rooms, events are either pre-registered or space availability basis depending on event. For example keynote speakers and ID courses require advance registration, and presentations are included on a first come first serve basis as part of your registration.

Policies are subject to change without notice, and we are amending as the State of Florida, the Radisson Resort at the Port, or the CDC mandates. Refunds requested past the cancellation deadline must be accompanied by a medical note, and the applicable administrative fee will still apply.
